Resource Erectors is excited to offer an opportunity for a driven and experienced individual to join our client company’s team as an Assistant Quarry Superintendent. In this key role, you’ll work closely with the Superintendent to oversee and enhance all facets of our quarry operations. From operational excellence to leading our dedicated team, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our quarry thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and oversee a talented team, focusing on skill development, safety, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Operational Oversight: Collaborate in managing day-to-day quarry operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to environmental standards.
- Safety & Environmental Stewardship: Champion our commitment to safety and environmental policies, striving for excellence and compliance.
- Technical Expertise: Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot operational challenges, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of equipment and processes.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in mine planning activities and play a pivotal role in achieving our production and financial goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate leader with at least 7 years in aggregate production and a track record of successful team management.
- Proficiency in operational and safety protocols with a willingness to stay abreast of industry innovations.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., QC Technician, Drilling and Blasting) are a plus.
- Solid computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office suite.
